Google Analytics iPhone app – Analytics Pro vs Quicklytics

Google Analytics is extremely comprehensive and full of detailed information about who and what might be visiting your website. However it is not very end user friendly and it is easy to get lost in the web based user interface. Accessing your stats on the go is a quicker and more convenient way of viewing these stats and while no replacement for the web based interface it comes pretty darn close with apps such as Analytics Pro that also supports exporting and printing. Maybe it is a bit misleading having the VS in the title since I actually use both of these apps equally, a little bit depending on how much time I have on my hands and how much info I want to access. Trying out the Hello bar

This is just a quick update to let you know that I am trying out the Hello Bar as you can see on top of this page. It’s basically a service for short messages accompanied with a link. To let your visitors (you!) know of a new service or a cause that might need your attention.

The clicks on the link above are tracked and displayed to you on your Hello Bar control panel, not unlike a Google Analytics account.

We’ll see how this pans out, it looks alright though and draws attention but if you don’t like it you can minimize it on the small arrow!

I call plenty of people during a day and many of the times I am seated in front of my computer and  a CRM-system like Insightly for example. I always felt a bit frustrated having the customer details displayed on screen but then I also needed to type that phone number in manually on my iPhone, it seemed like alot (ok ok, alot is perhaps the wrong word) of extra work.

Calvetica review – smart calendar for the iPhone

I have more than 10 different calendars going today, most of them Google Calendars. It’s businesses, birthdays, private, projects and more.  They sync with my iPhone without hassle having used the Mail, Contacts, Calendars configuration and I can honestly say that I had no big complaints about the built in calendar, that is until I tried Calvetica, now I want my wasted time back from Apple!
